Get GMED Layers


All the GMED environment layers are available for download individually or as a combined group based on the dataset classification. Presently the only layers which conform with the data quality standard are made available for download. We will enable unavailable layers for download once the post-processing is complete. Unless your work involved polar regions (especially the regions above 70°N), cropping the dataset with maximum 70°N as top extent is recommended as many source layers have interpolation errors above this latitude due to unavailability of primary survey data. A cropped version of GMED dataset is also available for download from this page.

Data source compiled and available at the dataset page and provided by the GMED team, from whom further information can be obtained (URL Link and original paper source is listed). All the data used to generate different layers are a compilation of freely available data from the sources listed in the dataset page metadata table. Few of the layers has been processed or modified to fit standardization protocol used for GMED, and such changes have been recorded in the dataset page. You are free to use this dataset for academic and other non-commercial purpose. Commercial use is not allowed without prior permission.
